Thermowood barrel saunas are built from heat-treated wood that resists moisture, stays stable and needs very little upkeep. A rich, dark look that holds up season after season.
About our thermowood barrel saunas
We carry 11 thermowood barrel saunas, priced from $4,390 to $9,495.
Heat treatment bakes the moisture and sugars out of the wood, so it moves less, resists rot and keeps its shape in hot and cold weather.
Why a barrel shape
The round shape has less air to heat, so it warms up fast and holds heat well. The staves also tighten as they warm, which keeps it strong.
Cedar or thermowood
Western red cedar smells great and resists rot naturally. Thermowood is heat-treated spruce or pine that's stable, dark and very low maintenance.
Porch or no porch
A front porch gives you a shaded spot to cool off and keep towels dry. It adds length, so measure your space.
