About Cedar Sense

Cedar Sense is an American-based, family-owned company located in Northern Minnesota.

Our Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar trees are grown & milled in the United States. We also conduct most of our packaging & all of our testing inside of the USA. The rings are manufactured in Hot Springs, Arkansas along with our other cedar blocks.

Our outdoor barrel saunas are made in Grand Rapids, MN through a company called Setri Barrel Sauna.  We partnered with them in 2024.  Our pricing is exactly the same.

The company was started by Michael Vail & originally operated out of his home & garage. Cedar Sense has since expanded to an office, begun hiring employees, & will continue to scale one sale at a time.
