Mike with Cedar Sense helped me get set up with an absolutely beautiful 6 person barrel sauna. We live in the mountains and opted for the iki wood heater and a big window to enjoy the view. The build construction was high quality. I had seen multiple other kits and barrel saunas and this one was over the top in being well made. We chose a metal roof due to the snow load as well. Mike delivered it and set it up perfectly on our back deck. The whole process was seamless and his communication was great. I would strongly recommend using Cedar Sense. In addition, he is always around and helpful for questions and anything else needed.

Mike … the owner is ‘amazing’ to work with, helpful, responsive & very knowledgeable. The ‘hot tub’ itself is attractive to look at, has a very efficient wood burner (WOW) & feels good size & shape wise when you are in the water. I’m very pleased. Tim

About our European barrel saunas
We carry 10 European-made barrel saunas, priced from $4,390 to $7,190.
Why a barrel shape
The round shape has less air to heat, so it warms up fast and holds heat well. The staves also tighten as they warm, which keeps it strong.
Cedar or thermowood
Western red cedar smells great and resists rot naturally. Thermowood is heat-treated spruce or pine that's stable, dark and very low maintenance.
Porch or no porch
A front porch gives you a shaded spot to cool off and keep towels dry. It adds length, so measure your space.
