Most saunas are scorching at the ceiling and cool at your feet. The Saunum AIR fixes that. Its climate equalizer pulls hot air from the ceiling, blends it with fresh air and sends it back down through 265 lbs of stones, so the whole room feels even and the steam is soft. The AIR L 15 heats saunas from 459 to 741 cu. ft. and lets you run a classic Finnish sauna, a long, gentle Estonian-style sweat, or a salt or aroma sauna using the built-in tray.

Mike with Cedar Sense helped me get set up with an absolutely beautiful 6 person barrel sauna. We live in the mountains and opted for the iki wood heater and a big window to enjoy the view. The build construction was high quality. I had seen multiple other kits and barrel saunas and this one was over the top in being well made. We chose a metal roof due to the snow load as well. What does the climate equalizer do?
It draws the hottest air from the ceiling, mixes in fresh air and pushes it back down through the stones. The heat is even from head to toe and the air feels fresher, so sessions are more comfortable.
Are stones included?
No. The AIR L needs 265 lbs of 2" to 4" stones, about 5 boxes.
Can I use salt or essential oils?
Yes. The removable tray holds Himalayan salt or aroma, and the air flow carries it through the room.
AIR L 13 or AIR L 15?
The AIR L 13 covers 317 to 565 cu. ft. The AIR L 15 covers 459 to 741 cu. ft. and needs an 80 A breaker.
How long until it ships?
Lead times vary by model and season. We confirm the timeline when you order and contact you before it ships.
Will this heater fit my sauna?
Heaters are sized by the volume of the sauna room. Check the room size range in the specs above, or send us your sauna's inside dimensions and we'll confirm the right size.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. Electric sauna heaters should be wired by a licensed electrician, and most need a dedicated 240V circuit. The exact breaker and wire size are in the specs and manual.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Choose Affirm or Klarna at checkout to split your order into monthly payments, subject to approval. You can also save 4% by paying with check, ACH or wire.
What about the warranty?
It's covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You don't have to deal with the brand yourself. Call us and we handle the claim for you.
