This 8′ × 14′ crank-down drop trailer is a simple, proven base for a mobile sauna or fish house. When you park, crank the frame down so it sits flat on the ground, then crank it back up to tow. It has a fully welded, enclosed galvanized steel frame with drain holes, aluminum rims with radial tires, and VM Trailers’ grease-free, maintenance-free pivot system.

Mike with Cedar Sense helped me get set up with an absolutely beautiful 6 person barrel sauna. We live in the mountains and opted for the iki wood heater and a big window to enjoy the view. The build construction was high quality. I had seen multiple other kits and barrel saunas and this one was over the top in being well made. We chose a metal roof due to the snow load as well. Mike delivered it and set it up perfectly on our back deck. The whole process was seamless and his communication was great. I would strongly recommend using Cedar Sense. In addition, he is always around and helpful for questions and anything else needed.

How does the drop work?
Crank the frame down at each corner to set it on the ground, then crank it back up before you tow.
Powder coat or galvanized?
Galvanized costs a bit more and holds up best to road salt and wet weather. Powder coat is the lower-cost finish.
Can you build the sauna on it for me?
Yes. Ask Mike about a finished mobile sauna on this trailer.
Crank or hydraulic?
Crank-down trailers cost less. Hydraulic trailers lower and raise at the push of a button, so setup is much faster.
How long until it ships?
Lead times vary by model and season. We confirm the timeline when you order and contact you before it ships.
