The Granby is Canadian Timber’s compact 6′ × 6′ cabin sauna for two or three people. Its 1.5″ Eastern White Cedar walls and roof heat up efficiently, in about 20 minutes depending on the weather. It has 2-tier benches with a return L-bench you can put on either side, a full-size door with a bronze glass window and a matte black steel roof. The kit is pre-cut, so no cutting is needed.

Mike with Cedar Sense helped me get set up with an absolutely beautiful 6 person barrel sauna. We live in the mountains and opted for the iki wood heater and a big window to enjoy the view. The build construction was high quality. I had seen multiple other kits and barrel saunas and this one was over the top in being well made. We chose a metal roof due to the snow load as well. Mike delivered it and set it up perfectly on our back deck. The whole process was seamless and his communication was great. I would strongly recommend using Cedar Sense. Can I cancel a Canadian Timber order?
These saunas are built to order in Canada, so they can't be canceled or returned once ordered.
How long until it ships?
This sauna usually ships in 6 to 8 weeks. We confirm the timeline when you order and contact you before delivery.
What do I need to set it on?
A level, solid base. A concrete pad, pavers, a compacted gravel pad or a sturdy deck all work. Ask us if you're not sure about your spot.
Do I need an electrician?
For an electric heater, yes. Most need a dedicated 240V circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Wood-burning heaters need no electrical at all.
Can you assemble it for me?
Yes. We assemble every kit we sell, priced by size and difficulty. Customers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa get big discounts on assembly.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Choose Affirm or Klarna at checkout to split your order into monthly payments, subject to approval. You can also save 4% by paying with check, ACH or wire.
What about the warranty?
It's covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You don't have to deal with the brand yourself. Call us and we handle the claim for you.
