Common questions
What power does it need?
A grounded 220-240V outlet, not a standard 120V household outlet. The cooling engine draws up to 7.5 A (about 1.7 kW at full power). If you do not have a 240V outlet near the plunge, have an electrician add one. Call us and we will confirm the plug type before you order.
Does it come with a chiller?
Yes. Every Icetubs plunge comes with its cooling engine, which cools the water to 37.4°F and can also heat it to 100.4°F.
Do I need plumbing?
No. Fill it with a garden hose using the included Gardena hose set, and drain it the same way.
Can it go outside?
Yes. Icetubs plunges are made for indoor or outdoor use. Use the thermo cover when it is not in use.
How do I keep the water clean?
A three-stage filter system runs with the cooling engine. Change the filter about monthly and use AquaFinesse water care.
Can it go indoors?
Yes. The cooling engine gives off heat into the room (up to about 3 kW at full power), so the room needs good ventilation or air conditioning. Leave 20" of clearance around the engine.
What is the warranty?
2-year limited warranty for home use, 6-month limited warranty for light commercial use.
What do the stairs add?
A two-step Thermowood and stainless staircase with handrails that fits over the engine, for an easier way in and out.
How long until it ships?
Lead times vary by model and season. We confirm the timeline when you order and contact you before it ships.
Where can I put it?
Indoors or out on a level, solid surface that can hold the weight when it's full. Models with a chiller need a nearby outlet.
How do I keep the water clean?
Keep it covered, run the filtration, and use a sanitizer. Follow the water-change schedule in the manual for your model.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Choose Affirm or Klarna at checkout to split your order into monthly payments, subject to approval.
What about the warranty?
It's covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You don't have to deal with the brand yourself. Call us and we handle the claim for you.
