The wall cavity, electrical box, vapor barrier, heater location, bench layout, and intended switching method should all be confirmed before the interior wall material is completed.
Basic Installation Overview
The steps below are a general overview only. The supplied installation guide and applicable electrical codes control the final installation.
Prepare the Electrical Box
Install a suitable wall outlet box and bring the required 120V supply wiring to the fixture location.
Install the Crossbar
Fasten the fixture’s mounting crossbar securely to the electrical outlet box.
Connect the Wiring
Connect hot, neutral, and grounding conductors as shown in the installation instructions.
Seat the Gasket
Position the rear gasket evenly between the fixture base and the finished wall surface.
Secure and Seal
Attach the fixture to its mounting hardware and seal around the base as directed.
Install Bulb and Globe
Install the approved bulb and turn the glass globe until it is seated securely.
Installation Must Be Completed by a Qualified Electrician
Disconnect power before installation or bulb replacement. Follow all applicable electrical codes, use an approved electrical box, maintain heater clearances, and do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended bulb wattage.
