Drop Trailer Specs That Matter

Axle Rating
This trailer features a single axle rated for 4,200 lbs. Account for your structure, equipment, and everything you plan to carry when planning your completed build.
Hitch Ball Size
The trailer coupler fits a 2-inch hitch ball. Your tow vehicle and hitch equipment must also be rated for the weight of your completed trailer.
Available Upon Request
A VIN and title can be provided upon request for each trailer. Let us know when ordering so we can coordinate these with your build.
The axle rating is not the trailer’s payload capacity or gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). Confirm the trailer’s GVWR and available payload before finalizing your build.

Powder Coat
Powder coating is a dry powder that is heat-cured into a protective finish over the steel. It gives the trailer a uniform coated appearance and creates a barrier against moisture and the elements.
If a chip or scratch exposes bare steel, touch up that area to help prevent rust from developing. Choose powder coat if you prefer the coated look shown in the video.
Galvanized
Galvanizing protects the steel with a zinc coating, giving the trailer a metallic gray appearance. Zinc provides a protective barrier and also sacrifices itself to help protect exposed steel around small scratches.
Choose galvanized if you prefer a metallic finish and the additional corrosion protection that zinc provides.
Care for either finish: Rinse away road salt and grime, and inspect the frame periodically for chips, scratches, or damage. Neither finish makes the trailer maintenance-free.
