How does the wood ship?

Sauna wood ships by freight truck straight to you, and the price includes shipping. Boards are 8 ft long, so they’re delivered curbside. Plan to have a helper there to unload.

How do I know how many boards I need?

The package pages count it for you from your sauna size, with 12% extra for cuts. Every wood page also has a calculator where you enter your room size.

What do I still need from the lumber yard?

Framing studs, insulation and fasteners. Everything you see inside a finished sauna comes from us.

Electric or wood heater?

Electric heaters need a 240V circuit from an electrician and heat up with the push of a button. Wood stoves need no power, but need a chimney and safe clearances. Read our sauna heater buying guide.
