Built-In Speakers for Sauna, Steam Room and Shower Audio
The Mr.Steam AUDIOX brings permanent Bluetooth audio into a warm, humid room without relying on a portable speaker.
The system combines one powered active speaker with one passive speaker. Both install nearly flush within a finished wall or ceiling and share the same clean, square black grille.

Are These the Right Speakers for Your Sauna?
The AUDIOX operating-temperature range extends to 140°F / 60°C. That makes it suitable for steam rooms, showers, relaxation areas, and certain lower-temperature sauna locations.
Many traditional saunas operate above 140°F at bench and ceiling height. Measure the actual temperature at the planned speaker location under normal operating conditions before installation.

AUDIOX Installation Requirements
Confirm the mounting cavity, speaker spacing, wiring route, power location, temperature, and potential water exposure before cutting the finished wall or ceiling.
Wall or Ceiling
AUDIOX may be recessed into a suitable finished wall or ceiling.
Square Cutout
Each speaker requires a 6 9/16″ × 6 9/16″ mounting opening.
Five-Inch Depth
Allow enough clear cavity depth behind the finished mounting surface.
120V Outlet
The system requires access to a suitable 120-volt wall outlet.
Seal the Perimeter
Apply silicone RTV around the fixture edge as directed to create a watertight perimeter seal.
Test Before Securing
Connect and test both speakers before tightening the integral mounting brackets.
Allow the sealant to cure according to its manufacturer’s directions before operating the steam room or exposing the installation to moisture.
Keep AUDIOX Away From Direct Water and Steam Emission
Do not place either speaker where a shower spray, steam head, or another direct source of water or steam will discharge onto it. Audio wiring must comply with applicable national and local electrical codes.

Residential Mr.Steam Accessory Coverage
Mr.Steam warrants eligible residential controls and accessories installed in the United States or Canada against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the original consumer’s purchase date.
The warranty excludes non-residential use, damage caused by local water conditions, and products installed or operated contrary to the supplied instructions. Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered.
