The Germany flag includes the colors of black, red, and gold, in that order. It is composed of three horizontal stripes. There is some debate on what the colors really mean on this flag.

Some say they stand for unity, freedom, and democracy. Others say the colors come from the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire, in which it features a black eagle with red claws and beak on a gold shield. Another thought is that the black symbolizes determination, red represents bravery, and gold stands for generosity.

 – Single Coat (more of a natural, matte look)
– Dual Coat (shinier, glossier look)
– UV Protect Coat (keeps moisture out & relieves it from harmful UV rays) This one is recommended if you want to hang your German flag outdoors.

Please allow 7-10 days for flags to be created and shipped on the size Large flags and 16 days for size X-Large.

We source all of the material right here in the United States from local saw mills and distributors. What does the 3 colors on the German flag mean?
The three colored bands represent the national colors of Germany. These national colors date back to the republican democracy proposed in the mid-1800s to symbolize unity and freedom. At the time of the Weimar Republic, these colors represented the centrist, democratic and republican parties.
